IT answers, before the ticket.

Many helpdesk requests are questions a runbook already answers. Neutron answers them from your IT documentation and links to the exact step, so employees can sort out routine problems themselves and your team keeps its time for the hard ones.

Sample answer · a fictional company

My VPN keeps dropping on office Wi-Fi. What should I try?

Switch to the Acme-Secure Wi-Fi profile and reconnect the VPN. If it still drops, the runbook asks you to send IT the client log.

Where IT answers come from.

Upload runbooks, setup guides and security policies as PDF, Word, Markdown or text files. Crawl your internal IT pages or status page, including pages behind a sign-in, and refresh them on a schedule so answers follow your latest instructions.

In preview, Google Drive and Google Sheets sync IT documents and lists such as approved software, and Slack syncs the help channel where workarounds get shared. Connectors for Notion, Confluence and SharePoint are coming soon.

Documents, sites, and tools connect to askneutron The askneutron mark sits on a raised central surface. Short connections join it to app, document, API, and database symbols, showing company systems connected in one place.

Ask where people already work.

Give IT its own agent with the runbooks and policies it needs. Employees ask it in the askneutron app or in a widget on your intranet or internal portal, and the widget can confirm who is asking through your sign-in.

IT engineers can reach the same knowledge from Codex or Claude through MCP, with their own access. Questions nobody could answer show up as content gaps, which tells you which runbook to write next.

  • A dedicated IT agent with its own sources
  • Widget on your intranet, verified by your sign-in
  • MCP access for engineers in Codex and Claude

Admin procedures stay with admins.

Set access per source. Admin runbooks, emergency access procedures and network diagrams can stay with the IT team while general how-to guides are open to everyone. Neutron answers each person only from sources they may read, and links every answer back to them.

Neutron does not reset passwords or change accounts. Any change an agent prepares waits for a person’s yes, and nothing runs on its own.

  • Answers follow each person’s access
  • Every step links back to its runbook
  • No change runs without a confirmation
